Ayurveda – Science of Ayurveda

‘Ayurveda’ means ‘Science of life’, which comprises‘ Ayur’ as life and ‘Veda’ as science. And according to the definition of Ayurveda in an ancient Sanskrit verse, “Ayurasminvidyate” defines Ayurveda as a science that deals with “Ayur” (life) and prolongs the lifespan.

Ayurveda is an ancient procedure of life and the oldest surviving medical science globally to heal diseases and enhance longevity. Its influence can be found in many other ancient traditional healing methods, including Greek, Chinese and Tibetan medicines, thus making it the ‘mother of healing.’
